About Lorecrafts

Hi, I’m Kim. I’m a mum to 2 beautiful boys and a Pokémon collector in a previous life. I never learnt how to play the game whilst I was collecting but when my eldest son showed an interest we learnt to play together and both really enjoyed it. A few years later we were in our local game shop and I heard the staff talking about a new TCG centred around Disney. I knew this would be something for me as an avid fan of Disney and all things connected to it. So we waited… and it felt like a lifetime waiting for this new TCG venture but once it arrived I never looked back. My son and I learnt how to play and I fell in love (he still prefers Pokémon, lol). I got better at the game by attending league nights on a weekly basis and learnt how to build effective decks from the cards available. I also decided that to make the best decks I had to have 4 of each card because as more cards were released old cards got better and I want to be able to be the best that I can be. This lead to buying lots of product and anyone who has done this knows that this leads to having more bulk than you know what to do with. It took over my kitchen side for a long time whilst I worked out what I could do with hundreds of duplicates of cards that I didn’t need. Then my local game store manager broke his arm and as they are a big fan of Beauty & The Beast what better card to signify the occasion than ‘Hold Still’, but what could I do to enhance this card. I tried a few things but settled on cutting the layers out of the card to make it 3D, and it turned out great. I made so many 3D cards for my friends at league and even did a promo Cinderella as prize support for my local game store. Lets just say everyone loved them and that was it, Lorecrafts was born. As I played the game and sought more ideas of crafty projects I could make with my excess cards I grew from just 3D cards to lore counters and keyrings too. I have many more ideas to come and I hope you will join me for this wonderful journey.
